Reflection: The Cricket’s Way
There is a silence that sings.
Not the silence of emptiness,
but of presence held gently—
like the cricket’s song stitched through the night.
A steady rhythm, unseen,
yet shaping the field around it.
This is the way of the hidden noble:
To uphold the unseen,
to sing the Earth whole
without asking to be known.
Their temple is the darkened meadow.
Their choir—each other.
And their altar, the vast and listening sky.
